Abstract:

This paper built a household decision based disaggregate mode choice model based on data from 2010Travel Survey of Beijing. The model parameters were estimated with Monte Carlo Method and Genetic Algorithm. The results have indicated that the disaggregated mode choice model fits the data very well and produces a fairly high overall goodness of fit of 0.759. It shows that the model can describe the mode choice behavior well.
