Abstract:
The glasphalt concrete is defined as asphalt concrete containing glass cullet as part of the fine aggregate. As domestic and international research on the project is lack of workable and uniform norms, research on the glasphalt concrete is not thorough and systemic enough, therefore, the study of glasphalt concrete is a forward-looking and practical exploratory study. In order to analyze the different performance of the glasphalt concrete with different account of glass cullet, and to test whether the road performance of the glasphalt concrete meet the specification, systematical tests have been carried out, such as the mix design, Marshall experiment, road performance tests and anti-slide performance test. Experimental results show that the road performance of the glasphalt concrete can meet the requirements of specification, and can be used as a new type of road pavement material.
