Abstract:

This review summarizes random lasers with plasmonic feedback, especially the characteristics of thin-film random lasers, such as two and three-dimensional plasomnic feedback random lasers based onthe gold nano-island and the silver nanowire structures. The overlap between the plasmonic resonance of the metal nanostructures and the photoluminescence spectra of the gain materials are the key essentials for the low threshold, high slope efficiency and tunability of the random laser. © 2015, Beijing University of Technology.
