Abstract:

Urban water and wastewater pipelines have strong spatial distributing characteristics, easily management using GIS. A design model of middle and small city water and wastewater pipelines based on Geographic Information System (GIS) is presented. Daqing city water and wastewater pipelines information management system is developed by using this model. System function and key technology are analyzed emphatically. The system can make up the conventional manage limitation and highly enhance work efficiency. Practice indicates that the model is valid and practical.
