Abstract:
A red-green-blue plasmonic random laser is achieved in a multilayer structure, which is fabricated by spin-coating three polymer solutions successively on a silica substrate. Under optical pumping, strong amplification of the polymer radiation can be observed due to the localized surface plasmon resonance of silver nanoparticles embedded in the multilayer structure. Red-green-blue random lasing is simultaneously obtained from the sample based on the enhanced scattering strength of silver nanoparticles. These results are useful for designing compact integrated random laser sources. (C) 2017 Optical Society of America
