Abstract :
A novel detection of sub-GeV dark matter is proposed in the paper. The electron cloud is boosted by the dark matter and emits an electron when it is dragged back by the heavy nucleus, namely the coherent scattering of the electron cloud of the atom. The survey in the x-ray diffraction shows that the atomic form factors are much more complex than the naive consideration. The results of the relativistic Hartree-Fock (RHF) method give non-trivial shapes of the atoms. The detailed calculation of the recoil of the electron cloud, the kinetics, the fiducial cross section and the corresponding calculation of detection rate are given analytically. The numerical results show that the limits of the RHF form factors are much more stringent than the recoil of a single electron, almost 4 orders stronger, and also give tight limitations compared to the Migdal effect below about several hundred MeV. The physical picture and the corresponding results are promising and need further exploration.

Abstract :
Motivated by the asynchronous finite differences method utilized for the calculation of the most probable distributions of finite particle number systems, this study employs numerical variation and central difference techniques to provide more precise estimations regarding these distributions. Specifically, three novel finite distributions are derived and applied to Bose-Einstein condensation, revealing that the critical condition (n?(3) = 2.612) may be relaxed in finite particle number scenarios. Moreover, maintaining density as a constant is anticipated to result in a higher critical temperature compared to infinite number systems. Notably, the obtained condensate number on the zero-energy level surpasses that of predictions generated by canonical distributions.

Abstract :
We present a comprehensive study on the self-interaction cross-section of puffy dark matter (DM) particles, which have a significant intrinsic size compared to their Compton wavelength. For such puffy DM self-interaction cross-section in the resonant and classical regimes, our study demonstrates the significance of the Yukawa potential and the necessity of partial wave analysis: (i) Due to the finite-size effect of puffy DM particles, the new Yukawa potential of puffy DM is found to enlarge the Born-effective regime for the self-interaction cross-section, compared with the point-like DM; (ii) Our partial wave analysis shows that depending on the value of the ratio between R-chi (radius of a puffy DM particle) and 1/m(phi) (force range), the three regimes (Born-effective, resonant and classical) for puffy DM self-interaction cross-section can be very different from the point-like DM; (iii) We find that to solve the small-scale anomalies via self-interacting puffy DM, the Born-effective and the resonant regimes exist for dwarf galaxies, while for the cluster and Milky Way galaxy the non-Born regime is necessary.

Abstract :
In the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) extended by a singlet superfield, when the coupling between the singlet sector and the MSSM sector is tiny, the singlet sector can be a quasi dark sector with supersymmetry (SUSY). We investigate the cosmological phenomena in this scenario and obtain the following observations: (i) In the parameter space solving the small cosmological scale anomalies via self-interacting singlino dark matter (SIDM), a first-order phase transition (FOPT) can readily happen but requires rather light dark matter below MeV; (ii) The corresponding parameter space indicated by FOPT and SIDM can be partially covered by detecting the phase-transition gravitational waves (GWs) at the near-future projects, such as LISA, TianQin and Taiji. Therefore, the recently developed GW astronomy could be a novel probe to such a SUSY scenario.

Abstract :
This study provides a brief overview of low energy supersymmetry (SUSY) in light of current experimental constraints, such as collider searches, dark matter searches, and muon g - 2 measurements. In addition, we survey a variety of low energy supersymmetric models: the phenomenological minimal supersymmetric model (MSSM); the supersymmetric models with cutoff-scale boundary conditions, i.e., the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) or the constrained MSSM (CMSSM), the gauge mediation of SUSY breaking (GMSB), and the anomaly mediation of SUSY breaking (AMSB), as well as their extensions. The conclusion is that the low energy SUSY can survive all current experimental constraints and remains compelling, albeit suffering from a slight fine-tuning problem. The advanced models such as mSUGRA, GMSB, and AMSB need to be extended if the muon g - 2 anomaly comes from new physics.

Abstract :
We study the Standard Model and the new physics predictions for the lepton-flavour-universality violating (LFUV) ratios in various b ?& nbsp;sl(+)l(-& nbsp;)channels with scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, axial-vector, and A baryon final states, considering both unpolarized and polarized final state hadrons. In order to formulate physical observables, we use the model independent effective Hamiltonian approach and employ the helicity formalism. We provide the explicit expressions of the helicity amplitudes in terms of the Wilson coefficients and the hadronic form factors by using the same kinematical configuration and polarization conventions for all the decay channels. We perform the numerical analysis with new physics scenarios selected from the recent global fits to b ?& nbsp;sl(+)l(-& nbsp;)data, having specific new physics model interpretations. We find that some of the LFUV ratios for these complementary channels in different kinematical regions have high sensitivity to new physics and the future measurements of them in Belle II and LHCb experiments, along with testing new physics/LFUV, can help to distinguish among some of the different new physics possibilities. Abstract :
Motivated by the current strong constraints on the spin-independent dark matter (DM)-nucleus scattering, we investigate the spin-dependent (SD) interactions of the light Majorana DM with the nucleus mediated by an axial-vector boson. Due to the small nucleus recoil energy, the ionization signals have now been used to probe the light dark matter particles in direct detection experiments. With the existing ionization data, we derive the exclusion limits on the SD DM-nucleus scattering through Migdal effect in the MeV-GeV DM mass range. It is found that the lower limit of the DM mass can reach about several MeVs. Due to the momentum transfer correction induced by the light mediator, the bounds on the SD DM-nucleus scattering cross sections can be weakened in comparison with the heavy mediator. Abstract :
If dark matter has a finite size, the intrinsic interaction responsible for the structure formation is inevitable from the perspective of dark matter self-scattering. To describe the circumstance in which the binding force realizes the finite size dark protons, we first use the eikonal approximation to simplify the convoluted scattering between dark protons into the case at the t 1/4 0 limit. The Chou-Yang model is then introduced to reduce the number of input parameters to one based on the simplicity and analyticity principle. A new definition of velocity dependence and the corresponding implications on the small cosmological structures from Chou-Yang dark protons are shown clearly. Even though the parameter space is not fully covered, the numerical findings show that the amplitude coefficient can alter the self-scattering cross section, allowing us to recover the excluded parameter space without using binding force. Finally, we demonstrate that the correct relic density from thermal freeze-out production prefers super heavy dark protons.

Abstract :
The decay t -> cV (V = gamma, Z, g) processes in mirror twin Higgs models with colorless top partners are studied in this paper. We report that the branching ratios of these decays can strongly affect the standard model expectations in some parameter spaces and may be detectable according to the current precision electroweak measurements. Thus, constraints on the model parameters may be obtained from the branching fraction of the decay processes, which may serve as a robust detection tool for this new physics model.
