Abstract :
Sharing dedicated bus lanes with ridesharing private vehicles plays a positive role in improving road traffic efficiency and alleviating traffic congestion. This study investigates the willingness to adopt ridesharing and analyzes the factors influencing ridesharing decisions. Under the scenario of opening dedicated bus lanes to private ridesharing vehicles, a ridesharing decision-making model for dedicated bus lanes is established based on cumulative prospect theory. We analyze the impact of the bus-lane-sharing strategy on travelers' ridesharing decisions and traffic flow structure. In addition, a bus lane operational efficiency evaluation model based on the combined weighting-TOPSIS method is constructed. Using the principle of maximum closeness, the operational efficiency of bus lanes is evaluated through a case study in a specific area of Nanchang City. The research results indicate that the closeness degree is 0.3720 without the bus-lane-sharing strategy, while the minimum closeness degree is 0.3744 and the maximum closeness degree is 0.3749 when the bus-lane-sharing policy is implemented. Therefore, the implementation of the bus-lane-sharing strategy demonstrates better operational efficiency compared to scenarios without sharing strategies. Additionally, when the number of ridesharing vehicles is relatively small and their capacity is large, travel costs are significantly reduced, and the overall road operational efficiency is improved. This study provides important reference values and practical significance for alleviating traffic congestion, improving the utilization efficiency of road resources, and formulating bus-lane-sharing policies.

Abstract :
Sharing bus lanes with ride-sharing vehicles is beneficial for improving the utilization efficiency of these lanes and alleviating urban traffic pressure. This paper applies evolutionary game theory to explore the evolutionary game dynamics of three travel modes-buses, ride-sharing vehicles, and driving alone-under different sharing strategy scenarios for bus lanes. Before constructing the game model, various influencing factors such as travel costs, time costs, and the combined costs of ride-sharing are quantified to calculate the cumulative prospect values before travel. The gains and losses in the cumulative prospect values are defined as parameter variables in the game model, establishing a payoff matrix for the three travel modes: buses, ride-sharing vehicles, and private cars. During the model-solving process, the Lyapunov first method is used for stability analysis of the equilibrium points, resulting in three groups of asymptotically stable equilibrium points. By rotating the parameter values according to the actual circumstances of different sharing strategies, the model simulates and evaluates the impact of various sharing policies on the travel mode choices among the three options. The results indicate that the gain and loss values in the cumulative prospect values of travel modes are key factors influencing travelers' mode choices. Under the synergistic effects of urban ride-sharing policies and traffic system optimization, when the cumulative prospect value of ride-sharing is a gain, travelers recognize its advantages and are willing to choose it. Conversely, when the cumulative prospect value indicates a loss, travelers are more inclined to choose bus travel or driving alone. This paper provides a theoretical foundation for the formulation of sharing policies for bus lanes with ride-sharing, contributing to improved utilization efficiency of these lanes and alleviating urban traffic pressure.

Abstract :
This paper investigates the latent classes of parking preference for drivers and the economic effects after implementing Parking Space Comprehensive Utilization (PSC) in traditional business districts (TBD), with a particular focus on the parking preferences of electric vehicle users (EVU). Firstly, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is used to reduce dimensionality and determine the latent structure. Then, based on the Latent Class Model (LCM), the customers are classified, and the proportion of each class under various latent variables is analyzed. Finally, the paper conducts a quantitative analysis of economic effects by considering different psychological factors across different customer classes. With the data obtained from revealed preference (RP) and stated preference (SP) surveys, this paper identifies the customers' preferences for the three scenarios presented. The results show that (1) customers can be classified into four classes: core customers (CCS, 34%), potential customers (PCS, 29%), regular customers (RCS, 22%), and marginal customers (MCS, 15%), among which EVU do not show a significant preference for parking charging facilities in TBD; (2) the potential economic improvements for these four classes are: 9%, 12%, 8%, and 10%; (3) CCS has the greatest potential to increase store revenue by yen 7041, while PCS has the greatest potential to increase store customer flow by 31%. These findings provide a valuable reference for decision-making by TBD store managers.

Abstract :
The primary objective of this paper is to minimize the overall travel costs for passengers while simultaneously maximizing the operational revenue for the transportation company. This is achieved through the optimization and adjustment of various factors, such as the intervals between regular bus and subway services, the duration of vehicle stops at each station, and the pricing structure for subway and shared bicycle usage. By enhancing the efficiency of passenger travel, we have successfully bolstered the company's operational profits. In contrast to prior research, this paper comprehensively considers the dual uncertainties associated with both bus operations and shared bicycle operations within a cooperative system. By establishing a coordinated dual-level optimization model for regular bus, subway, and bike-sharing networks under dual uncertainty conditions, we employed convex combination techniques to unify the dual uncertain variables into a single objective, which was then incorporated into a chance-constrained bilevel programming model. Ultimately, we utilized KKT conditions to transform the model from a bilevel to a single level for resolution. This paper centers its research on the collaborative system comprising the Nanchang Metro Line 1, Bus Route 520, Bus Route 211, and the adjacent region hosting a cluster of shared bicycles. By leveraging Python programming, optimization models, empirical data on traffic flow and stoppage times, and OD data, we conducted an optimization analysis to solve the problem at hand. According to the optimization results, passenger waiting time, passenger transfer time, and passenger on board time are effectively reduced by 6.81%, 18.29%, and 23.92%. At a confidence level of 95%, the resulting time level results in a 12.44% reduction in total travel time. The average subway fare increased by 18.12%, the average shared bicycle fare decreased by 19.12%, and the total cost of travel expenses increased by 16.68%. The final total cost of travel was reduced by 4.06%, and the business operating income was increased by 13.10%. The comprehensive optimization results have effectively fulfilled the objectives of the bilevel optimization model, thereby confirming the rationality and practicality of the optimization approach. The research outcomes hold significant practical implications for facilitating the efficient and cooperative development of urban transportation networks, ultimately enhancing the convenience of residents' travel experiences.

Abstract :
In the context of aging, community has become the main activity place for the elderly, and their daily travel is closely related to their health. This paper aims to understand the overall travel and activity characteristics, health level of the elderly with different attributes in the old residential areas, the relationship between travel conditions and health level, the difficulties faced by daily travel and suggestions to improve the travel environment and health level of the elderly. Three old residential areas in Chaoyang District, Beijing were selected to investigate 15 elderly people on their daily travel, activities and health in the form of observation, questionnaire and interview. The survey results show that the daily travel modes of the elderly mainly include walking, cycling and public transportation. About 1 / 3 of the elderly need auxiliary tools. About 80% of the elderly suffer from diseases and 20% of the elderly have normal body mass index(BMI). The self-rated mental health (MSH) of the elderly is the best. The relationship between the average activity duration of the elderly and their health level under different travel conditions is mainly shown as follows: with the increase of travel time per trip, the outdoor activity duration of the elderly shows a trend of "first increase and then decrease", the number of diseases decreases, and the average BMI fluctuate. The next step is to expand the research scope and explore the travel and health status of the elderly in different community types, so as to provide basis for improving the travel environment and the health of the elderly.

Abstract :
In order to optimize the bus departure time considering uncertain factors, this paper constructed an uncertain bi-level programming model for departure frequency and scheduling of a bus line. The uncertainty of passenger arrival and bus operation time were taken into account, combined with actual operation conditions. Nanchang 207 bus line was taken as an example to optimize the departure frequency and scheduling in the morning peak hour. The optimal departure frequency in the morning peak hour is 12 times. The overall index value of the route's non-uniform scheduling during peak hours increased by 0.06 and 9.23% compared with uniform scheduling. The analysis results show that the effect of the non-uniform scheduling is obvious. The issue of bus line departure frequency and scheduling has a positive effect on improving the efficiency of public transportation, reducing operating costs and promoting the sustainable development of the public transportation system. This paper provides a theoretical support for bus operators to optimize route operations.

Abstract :
Demand responsive transit (DRT) service is reemerging as a flexible and sharable strategy to mitigate the ever-growing car ownership and environmental pollution. Nevertheless, encouraging passengers to accept spatiotemporal aggregation remains an often-overlooked but critical problem. In this paper, two strategies for aggregating passenger demand are proposed to improve the performance of the DRT system. The discount incentive mechanism is to induce passengers toward long-term use. A solution approach based on variable neighborhood descent is developed to accelerate the computational performance and enhance the solution quality. In addition, a Beijing case study offers support for the impact of spatiotemporal aggregation strategies on DRT system. The results reveal that two strategies drastically improve the profit while reducing the average fare. Therefore, spatiotemporal aggregation strategies with a discount as an incentive facilitate constructing a flexible DRT service.

Abstract :
In order to alleviate bus bunching and improve the balance and punctuality rate of bus operation, a single-line real-time control strategy based on Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) was proposed. The strategy took three measures: controlling the cruising speed, dwell time, and the bus load rate to improve the stability of bus operations and to ensure its running speed. At the same time, the proposed strategy was compared with the literature on the traditional single-point control strategy based on timetable (S1 for short) and the multi-point control strategy based on time headway (S2 for short). Finally, the No. 245 bus line in Nanchang City, China, was selected as a case. It was modeled and simulated by Python programming software, and the control effects of the three control strategies were analyzed. Compared with the uncontrolled bus operations, the simulation results show that: under the control of S1, the bus operation stability is improved, but the bus operation efficiency is reduced; under the control of S2, the problem of S1 operation efficiency reduction can be solved, and the operation stability can be improved at the same time to achieve the effect of preventing bunching. For the real-time control strategy (S3 for short), the average bus travel time is the smallest, the distance between the buses is maintained the best, and the running stability is also the best, which avoids the bus bunching to the greatest extent. Among them, the average travel time is reduced by about 34% compared with the second strategy. This study provides a theoretical basis and strategy reference for bus operators to ensure balanced bus operation.
