Coupled Vibration of a Vehicle Group-Bridge System and Its Application in the Optimal Strategy for Bridge Health Monitoring SCIE

Abstract :

The accuracy of bridge performance monitoring and evaluation is easily affected by unfavorable factors such as vehicle coupling and test noise. In order to accurately evaluate the dynamic response and health monitoring threshold of the bridge under different operating conditions, a time-varying dynamic vehicle group model including the main uniform mass and the coupling mass was established, and the influence of road roughness was considered in the coupling equation. A bridge monitoring strategy considering signal noise ratio and vehicle-bridge interaction was proposed, and the effectiveness of the monitoring strategy was verified by taking a simple supported beam as an example. The results showed that the proposed time-varying dynamic vehicle group model could accurately consider the influence of road roughness and estimate the threshold of health monitoring, and the proposed bridge monitoring strategy could filter out a large amount of low signal-to-noise ratio or meaningless data, thus saving computing resources and realizing the lightweight safety monitoring of bridges.

Abstract :

Although the tuned mass damper (TMD) is characterized by simple construction, a definite damping mechanism, and a strong damping effect, a narrow damping frequency band, a detuning effect, and large occupied space limit its application in practical engineering. Particle dampers have the advantages of damping frequency bandwidth and small space, but the damping effect is unsatisfactory. Therefore, a new combined damping system (CTP) containing a TMD and a multiple unidirectional single-particle damper (MUSPD) was developed. A series of shaking table tests for a controlled and uncontrolled structure were conducted to investigate the performance of the system, and the damping effects of a TMD, MUSPD and CTP subjected to harmonic excitation, normal ground motions, rock ground motions, and soft ground motions were compared and analyzed. Finally, a mechanical model of the CTP and corresponding numerical simulation method were developed based on its damping mechanism. The results indicate that a CTP can effectively integrate the advantages of a TMD and MUSPD, and exhibits a better damping effect, wider damping frequency band, and stronger robustness. The shaking table test demonstrates the rationality and feasibility of a simulation method for a CTP.

本发明公开了一种具有复合隔振底座和悬臂调谐梁的减振输电塔体系,其由输电塔主体、塔脚支座、混凝土基座、悬臂调谐梁和复合隔振底座组成。在风荷载或中小震作用下,悬臂调谐梁通过随输电塔主体产生共同振动,使调谐装置相对运动产生的惯性力反作用到主体结构上,此时悬臂调谐梁将会起到调谐减振的作用,从而控制塔身局部变形。当在较强风荷载或大震作用下时,输电塔结构发生较大水平位移将会带动复合隔振底座产生水平或竖向运动,此时金属橡胶/橡胶复合材料便会起到耗能减振的作用,使输电塔具有整体平移的特性,从而有效降低结构动力响应幅值。本发明属于输电线路减振控制和防灾减灾技术领域。

目前的连续体优化设计通常局限于局部优化和材料拓扑优化,工程应用可行性偏弱.此外,基于满应力的优化设计对复杂荷载形式和材料非线性特征的考虑不够充分,无法直接指导结构弹塑性优化设计.基于工程结构的力学特征、几何形状和荷载模式,探究连续体的截面及形状优化的理论方法和力学解析解具有重要的理论和工程价值.将工程结构等效为变截面连续悬臂梁,将风荷载和地震作用等复杂荷载简化为均布荷载、倒三角荷载和与惯性力相关荷载三种荷载分布形式,针对具有圆环形和箱形等典型横截面的结构,根据满应力理念将结构沿高度方向应力相等或相近作为优化目标,通过建立截面弯矩的不同表征形式并考虑材料非线性研究面向满应力优化的连续结构截面优化理论和解析形式.同时给出结构最优刚度分布解析表达.通过有限元分析对理论方法和结果的正确性进行充分验证,研究结果表明:在结构弹性阶段及塑性阶段,按解析解结果设计截面尺寸的结构均可实现满应力理念;在静力和动力作用下,优化结果均有良好效果;不同荷载形式和截面类型下的最优截面尺寸分布及最优刚度分布是不同的,应根据工程需求进行具体优化设计.

Bending performance analysis of precast composite beams with precast ECC plate SCIE

Abstract :

Despite the popularity of precast concrete (PC) composite beams in urban construction, some shortcomings still exist in application. These include easy cracking, poor deformation ability, susceptibility to impact damage. To solve the above problems, engineered cementitious composites (ECC) are applied in the tension zone of PC beam specimens to improve the mechanical properties. Eleven specimens are designed and loaded. An analysis of the bending behavior is presented considering the effects of the precast ECC plate thickness, reinforcement connection mode, and reinforcement ratio on the bending performance. The mechanical characteristics of each stage are analyzed in detail. The crack width development trend is measured. Results show that the bearing capacity and ductility of the PC beams with precast ECC plates and post-pouring zones are higher than those of reinforced concrete (RC) beams; The calculation method given in this paper can reflect the mechanical performance well. The reinforcement stress can be effectively transmitted by a sleeve or hoop connection; the precast ECC plate can effectively control the crack width. The PC beam with ECC baseplate and post pouring area presented in this paper has good mechanical performance and is suitable for engineering construction.
