A technology of multiple-harmonic magnetic field excitation and its signal-processing method for noncontact steel pipeline defect detection SCIE

Abstract :

Harmonic magnetic field focus detection technology has been utilized for in-service pipeline defect detection due to its advantage in providing high-sensitivity and noncontact detection. However, this technology encounters interference from background signals and noise during high lift-off detection, which limits the accuracy of defect signal extraction. To quickly and robustly identify pipe defects, this work discloses a novel defect signal extraction method for multiple-harmonic magnetic field detection technology. The proposed method is insensitive to noise interference, effectively extracting defect signals even under high-intensity noise conditions. A pipe defect model based on magnetic dipole moments is established for simulation analysis, and a pipeline test platform is built for experimental validation. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can identify defects from signals with a low signal-to-noise ratio of 5.7 dB and locate pipes, welds, and defects with high resolution.

涡街流量计涡街系数数值计算与仿真分析研究

Abstract :

在航天发射领域,液氧的加注系统关系到发射任务能否圆满完成,所以对于液氧流速的测量至关重要。而涡街流量计由于其性能稳定、宽量程等优点常作为液氧流速的测量仪器。经过试验仿真发现涡街流量计在低流速和高流速下涡街系数呈现出不同的特性,导致涡街流量计在低流速下其精度较低。为探究涡街流量计在低流速和高流速下其涡街系数的变化特性,对入口速度为1.0~10.5 m/s流速的涡街流场进行仿真试验,得到涡街频率和入口速度的关系图,并通过拟合曲线得到涡街频率和涡街系数的拟合曲线,最后利用得到的涡街系数曲线与平均系数进行流速的计算发现,通过曲线拟合后得到的流体流速更为精确。

本发明公开了一种双端盖轴向定量叶片泵结构,包括泵壳、上定子、下定子、转子,泵壳具有一贯穿其两端的通道且泵壳上设有外吸油口和外排油口;转子位于上定子和下定子之间,转子套设于一转轴上,转轴一端与下定子转动连接,另一端穿过上定子位于泵壳外,转子绕其中心径向设置有四个叶片卡槽,叶片槽内设有叶片且叶片相对的端面分别与上定子和下定子相接触。本发明中上定子和下定子均与叶片为线接触,叶片和泵壳内壁、叶片和转轴之间为面接触,叶片、定子、转子和泵壳四者共同形成密闭腔室,通过腔室容积的变化,形成高压和低压腔的循环变化,从而完成吸油和排油动作,采用这种结构密封性能可靠、结构简单、可形成较高的输出压力。

Abstract :

Heat flux manipulation based on thermal metamaterials under diffusive heat conduction has been ex-tensively studied due to their extraordinary potential in energy utilization. However, the requirement of extreme material parameters or even infinite singularity may significantly limit their practical applica-tions. In this work, we propose a new method for uniformly designing thermal cloak and concentrator with interconnected structure. The condition for realizing the undisturbed temperature distribution of the background medium in thermal cloak is strictly deduced. Through adjusting two geometric parameters of the interconnected structure, we analytically demonstrate that the thermal cloak and concentrator are realizable, where the heat flux can be shielded or concentrated in the target region. The desired ther-mal functionalities are confirmed both by the finite element simulations and heat transfer experiments. Furthermore, the results of interconnected structure are in excellent agreement with that of conventional thermal devices, and demonstrate that the interconnected structure provides an efficient method for ma-nipulating heat flux over a very wide range (from cloaking to concentrating) despite having a simple composition and structural characteristics. The feasibility of interconnected structure can enhance the se-lection of bulk natural materials in addition to easy manufacturability for the heat flux manipulation, which might be extended to other disciplines, such as electromagnetics and acoustics. Fluid-structure interaction (FSI) gained a huge attention of scientists and researchers due to its applications in biomedical and mechanical engineering. One of the most important applications of FSI is to study the elastic wall behavior of stenotic arteries. Blood is the suspension of various cells characterized by shear thinning, yield stress, and viscoelastic qualities that can be assessed by using non-Newtonian models. In this study we explored non-Newtonian, incompressible Casson fluid flow in a bifurcated artery with a stenosis. The two-dimensional Casson model is used to study the hemodynamics of the flow. The walls of the artery are supposed to be elastic and the stenosis region is constructed in both walls. Suitable scales are used to transform the nonlinear differential equations into a dimensionless form. The problem is formulated and discretized using Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) approach. The finite element method (FEM) technique is used to solve the system of equations, together with appropriate boundary conditions. The analysis is carried out for the Bingham number, Hartmann number, and Reynolds number. The graphical results of pressure field, velocity profile, and load on the walls are assessed and used to study the influence of hemodynamic effects on stenotic arteries, bifurcation region, and elastic walls. This study shows that there is an increase in wall shear stresses (WSS) with increasing values of Bingham number and Hartmann number. Also, for different values of the Bingham number, the load on the upper wall is computed against the Hartmann number. The result indicate that load at the walls increases as the values of Bingham number and Hartmann number increase.

Abstract :

As a result of its wide range of applications, FSI has grabbed the attention of researchers and scientists. In this study we consider an incompressible, laminar fluid flowing through the bifurcated channel. The wavy walls of the channel are considered elastic. Moreover, a magnetic field is applied towards the axial direction of the flow. Using a two-way fluid-structure interaction, an Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation is used for coupling the problem. The problem is discretized using P 2 and P 1 finite element methods to approximate the displacement, pressure, and velocity. The linearized system of equations is solved using Newton's iterative scheme. The analysis is carried out for the Reynolds number and Hartman number. The ranges of the studied parameters are Reynolds number 300 & LE; R e & LE; 1000 and Hartmann number 0 & LE; H a & LE; 10 . The hemodynamic effects on the bifurcated channel and elastic walls are calculated using velocity, pressure, wall shear stresses (WSS), and loads at the walls. The study shows there is an increase in boundary load as the values of the Hartman number increase hence WSS increases. On the other hand, an increase in the Reynolds number increases the resistance forces hence velocity and WSS decrease. Also, numerical values of WSS for rigid and elastic walls are calculated. Studies showed that WSS decreases for the FSI case when compare to CFD (computational fluid dynamic) case.

本发明公开了一种基于谐波磁场相量微元数据的管道检测方法及系统,方法包括:在谐波激励信号的激励下,检测并采集管道的耦合磁场数据;将采集到的管道的数据点划分为预设数量的微元;计算扫描周期的扫描角、扫描周期内的微元个数以及扫描周期的个数,并计算得到微元数据点的辐角;根据辐角计算得到微元数据点的实部和虚部,并根据实部和虚部计算当前微元数据点的相位;将检测过程按照预设窗口进行分段,并对每一窗口内微元数据点的相位求和;根据分段窗口内微元数据点的相位和的变化量与预设量相比,判断管道的对应位置是否存在缺陷。通过本发明的技术方案,能够直观地表征管道的缺陷,使得缺陷检测具有较高的灵敏度和精确度。

本发明公开了一种不拆包覆层管道损伤全周检测探头及数据补偿方法,包括激励线圈阵列,用于产生磁场并在待检测管道处合成旋转的激励磁场,对激励源输出电压幅度和功率要求低;磁传感器阵列,用于监测管体径向磁场强度以实现损伤目标识别,构造零磁通位置和提出基于等效激励磁场模型的背景磁场补偿数据处理方法,降低或补偿激励磁场干扰对检测精度的影响;筒状探头外壳,可使检测探头平稳地在包覆层上移动,且能够调整滚轮位置以适用不同包覆层厚度。本发明的检测探头具有提离距离高,降低激励磁场对检测的干扰,可一次性检测管体全周向的缺陷,数据补偿方法能够补偿激励磁场对缺陷识别造成的干扰,满足在不拆除包覆层条件下对管道进行检测的要求。
