Abstract :

There are many bolted structures in heavy-duty gantry machine tools, and the structural performance of these components greatly impacts the dynamic properties of the entire machine. Firstly, based on the fractal theory, a bolt preload-contact stiffness and damping model was established by characterizing the load, deformation and strain energies of the bolted joint surfaces. In order to precisely forecast the dynamic features, a dynamic response model of the tip point of the gantry machine was first proposed by adopting the multi-body system transfer matrix method. The feasibility of the contact mechanism and the dynamic response model were verified by modal tests respectively. Finally, the effect of bolt preload loosening on the dynamic response of the whole machine is analyzed. In the scaled model of the gantry machine, when the bolt preloads on the lathe bed-column and crossing beam-column joint surfaces are loosened by 30 %, the displacement response of the tool tip point increases by 41.2 % and 40.1 % respectively, which indicates that the effect of lathe bed-column interface is more significant. This paper seeks out the weak link in the gantry machine tool, which helps to carry out the design optimization of its assembly processing afterward.

Preload Control Method of Threaded Fasteners: A Review SCIE

Abstract :

Threaded fasteners are one of the most commonly used connection methods for mechanical structures. Its primary function is to generate appropriate clamping forces and fasten the connected parts. An inappropriate preload can cause loosening, fatigue fracture, and other problems. This will affect the safety and reliability of mechanical equipment. The precise control of the preload has become a critical issue in mechanical assembly processes. Over the past few decades, various tightening measures and methods have been proposed to address this issue. However, many problems continue to exist with practical applications that have not been reviewed comprehensively and systematically. First, various control methods were summarized systematically, and their advantages and disadvantages in engineering applications were analyzed. Torque control is the most widely used tightening method owing to its simple operation and low cost. Therefore, the research on the torque control method was summarized systematically from three aspects: the torque-preload correlation formula, effective friction radius, and friction characteristics during tightening. In addition, the special circumstances that may increase preload uncertainty were discussed. Finally, based on a summary of the current research status, the prospects for future research were discussed. This study would aid researchers in extensively understanding the problems in preload control.

Abstract :

A method has been developed to quantify the bearing surface friction coefficient in bolted joints based on the mechanics of the tightening process. By measuring the surface topography under different tightening torques, a strong correlation between the variation of the microscopic topography and the friction coefficient was revealed. The friction coefficient initially decreases and subsequently increases due to surface wear and microstructural transformations. A genetic algorithm (GA) and backpropagation neural network (BP) were employed to create a predictive model, optimizing network parameters for enhanced learning efficiency and accuracy. The experimentally validated GA-BP prediction model forecasts friction behavior with a maximum relative error of 3.57 %, offering valuable insights for the design and optimization of bolted joints.

本发明公开了一种基于表面主应变测量内六角螺栓预紧力的试验系统与方法,测试系统由预埋应变片内六角螺栓、缩比试验件、三轴应变花、动态应变仪和上位机组成,三轴应变花对称粘贴在距离内六角螺栓轴线nd位置,测试方法包括:S1、应用动态应变仪和上位机采集螺栓预紧力与测点三个方向的应变;S2、基于测点三向应变数据计算测点主应变ε1和ε2;S3、获取测点主应力σ1和σ2,设计四个测点主应力标准差的阈值;S4、建立表征内六角螺栓预紧力与测点平均应力关系的数据驱动模型。本发明属于数控机床高性能装配技术领域,能够准确测量不同材料和尺寸的内六角螺栓连接结构预紧力,解决了内六角螺栓预紧力在线无损测量方法缺失问题。

本发明公开了一种内反馈式静压转台扇形单油垫实验装置,包括静压支撑系统,静压支撑系统由供油系统供油。静压支撑系统的上油垫、下油垫通过螺栓固定在支撑导轨上,支撑导轨设于U形支撑板内,上油垫、下油垫分别正对U形支撑板的上下内壁,U形支撑板与上油垫之间,U形支撑板与下油垫之间分别形成油膜厚度;内反馈的油路通过内孔隐藏在支撑导轨内部;支撑导轨由支撑杆支撑连接,U形支撑板的外部设有磁性水平尺;U形支撑板的底部设有压力传感器;压力传感器的底部设有竖向安装丝杠,由丝杠调节U形支撑板的高度;三个手轮与丝杠相连,通过转动手轮来调节丝杠高度;本发明可以检测单油垫的承载性能,不需要搭建整个静压转台,降低了成本。

本发明公开了一种内反馈式静压转台节流器设计方法,计算扇形油垫的流量。采用有限差分法对二阶偏微分方程进行离散,采用高斯赛德尔迭代法对上式进行求解,得到油腔的无量纲压强,得不同方向的速度三维分布;矩形缝隙流量计算。由于矩形缝隙节流器的短边尺寸非常小,将矩形缝隙节流器看成是矩形油垫,其只有长边封油边起作用。转台旋转后,流经矩形缝隙的油液带有离心力。在求解矩形缝隙节流器的流量时,将矩形油垫等效成扇形油垫,其中心和扇形油垫中心重合,等效前后面积不变。在初始状态下,上下油腔油膜厚度相同,根据内反馈结构特点,经过下油腔的流量和过节流边的流量相等。本发明关于节流器长度计算方法更符合实际。

本发明公开了一种平底端面铣刀刀轴矢量优化方法,刀轴矢量优化从加工干涉、切削力、旋转轴角位移和角速度等多个因素进行综合考量。首先,提出了基于曲面原理的改进型空间分割刀轴矢量全局干涉检测方法,运用该干涉检测算法判断刀具是否发生加工干涉以及进行无干涉刀轴矢量空间计算;其次,建立了端铣刀刀轴矢量与切削力变化的关系模型,以刀具切削力最优为目标进行刀轴矢量优化;再次,使用Dijkstra算法,提出了一种基于最优路径算法的机床旋转轴角位移和角速度优化模型;采用该优化算法进行复杂曲面加工,刀轴矢量优化后的曲面工件加工质量与刀轴矢量未优化时相比有明显提高。

本发明公开了一种螺栓松动试验分析方法,包括:获取螺栓连接结构的承压面表面形貌参数;根据获取的承压面表面形貌参数计算分形参数;根据获取的承压面表面形貌参数计算承压面静摩擦系数;对螺栓连接结构进行拉伸试验,分析螺栓连接结构的残余预紧力,得到承压面静摩擦系数对螺栓松动的影响规律。本发明考虑了螺栓连接承压面静摩擦系数对螺栓连接结构松动的影响,通过引入域扩展因子及微凸体弹塑性变形阶段修正三维分形理论,推导出结合面静摩擦系数模型,并通过静摩擦系数模型来分析螺栓连接结构在受到循环载荷作用下的松动趋势,考虑承压面摩擦系数来分析螺栓连接的松动更加贴合实际工况,为螺栓连接结构在实际工况下松动研究提供了新的方法。
