受中西方文化和民族心理的影响和制约,英汉隐喻的意义既存在相似性,也存在差异性.相似性主要表现在共时的一致性和发展的一致性;差异性主要表现在隐喻的缺失,隐喻意义不同程度上的差异甚至相反.
