Abstract:

  二氧化钒会在68oC由绝缘体相转化为金属相,即金属绝缘体相变.由绝缘体相转化为金属相时,二氧化钒会沿金属相的c轴缩短约1%,所以沿c轴的压应变会稳定金属相,降低绝缘体相转化为金属相的相变温度,使其在低于68oC时发生相变;反之,沿c轴的拉应力则会稳定绝缘体相,升高绝缘体相转化为金属相的温度.基于此,人们可以利用应变工程调控二氧化钒的金属绝缘体相变.图1中展示了如何利用应变工程调控相变的临界温度和金属-绝缘体两相畴结构.如图1a,在压应变的调控下,相变首先在纳米线的受压侧发生,金属相优先在此形核(红色箭头),相变温度被由68oC调控到58oC.我们利用图1-b中的弯曲纳米线应力分析模型来分析应变如何将纳米线的相变温度由68oC调控到58oC.
