Abstract:
Since the launch of China's "coal to electricity" project, many new room radiator heating devices have been developed in China, such as split air conditioning and water-loop heat pump systems. In order to avoid the sense of blowing brought by split air conditioners and overcome the problem of low energy efficiency of water-loop heat pump system, relevant researchers proposed the natural convection heat exchange system. Although natural convection system solves the above problems, it is still facing the problem of low heat exchange efficiency, complexity of the system structure and other problems. In order to solve the above problems, a heat pump system with wire-and-tube heat exchange terminal based on natural convection heat transfer is proposed and a set of prototype is developed. The system performance, indoor air temperature distribution and system start-up characteristics under different working conditions were tested in the psychrometric room. The results show that the heat pump system can achieve a heating COP (coefficient of performance) of 3.55 when the outdoor temperature is -5 C-degrees and the indoor temperature is 20(degrees)C and a cooling COP of 2.83 when the outdoor temperature is 40(degrees)C and the indoor temperature is 27(degrees)C. The indoor temperature is uniformly distributed, and the human body has better sense of thermal comfort. These works provide a new choice for the heating and cooling of residential buildings.
