Abstract：
The principle of Analytic Network Process (ANP) is discussed in the paper, and then the application procedure of it in risk assessment is presented. Risk factors of underground engineering are identified through expert investigation method. MATLAB is used to deal with the comparison matrices and the super matrices of risk factors. The scientific basis for risk management is provided.
