Abstract:
In this paper, seismic static experimental research on short pier shear walls with concealed bracings without being subjected to engineering axial force (45° and 135° with engineering axes) is conducted. By the systemic experiments on four 1/2 scale L-shaped short pier shear walls with concealed bracings without being subjected to engineering axial force, the main seismic performance indexes of L-shaped short pier shear walls without being subjected to engineering axial force are discussed, and the immanent seismic mechanism is investigated. It shows that concealed bracings improve remarkably the seismic performance of short pier shear walls without being subjected to engineering axial force.
