Abstract:

To effectively prevent and accessorily treat the diabetic foot, the applications of modern technology to prevention and accessorily treatment of diabetic foot possess very important realistic significance and applied value. Geometry model of foot is created with image manipulation software and CAD software. Finite element model is created with MSC/Patran software, which is the pre-processing software of finite element analysis software. And the stress distribution on the bottom of foot is analyzed with MSC/Nastran software, which is finite element analysis software. With MSC/Patran software as the developing platform, the program is compiled with advanced programming language MSC/PCL to automate the process of model manipulation. The program can automatically manage the geometry model to create the finite element model, so the manual intervention is reduced and the efficiency is improved. The foundation for the optimization design of the facility to prevent and accessorily treat the diabetic foot is established with the combination of image manipulation and numerical simulation.
