Abstract:
Through the analysis of generation and distribution of the maximal shearing strength in the bituminous pavement, it is discovered that the vertical load may make shear strength increase when the relative stiffness is bigger and the thickness is thinner at the crossing of city roads, especially of high velocity and over loading. Exorbitant centralization of the shear strength leads to cut demolishing. In order to overcome and reduce asphalt pavement rut, we should consider the design of the material and the structure. This article brought forward the control parameter of the level load in structure design besides design deflection.
