Abstract:
The theory and method of extenics were applied to establish classical field matter elements and segment field matter elements for reinforced concrete structure. A matter-element model for structure was established based on four matter-elements, which were internal damage index, maximum inter-storey drift, number of inelastic cycles and energy-concentrated quotient. A matter-element analysis method for seismic damage evaluation on reinforce concrete structure was presented. This method can be accomplished by nappe structure analysis and capacity spectrum method, while considering multiple factors for performance-based design, such as displacement and energy. This method was verified clearly through the practical example, and the rationality and validity were demonstrated. By this practice example, the model proves to be accurate and logical in evaluating the degree of structural seismic damage.
