Abstract:

Due to the development of precision measurement technology, the required measurement accuracy of the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) is increasingly high. According to the method of laser tracer (LT) multi-station measurement, the spatial coordinate error of the CMM can be fast calibrated in real time so as to improve the positioning accuracy of the measurement points in the CMM space. This study aims to develop an uncertainty analysis method for the CMM spatial coordinate correction system based on the multi-station measurement of the LT. Under the experimental conditions that the spatial scope of the measured points in the CMM is 300 x 200 x 300 mm(3) , the number of the measured points is 48 and the number of the stations of the LT is 5, the combined standard uncertainty of the measurement system is 2.2 mu m. At the same time, two important conclusions are drawn and corresponding solutions are given.
