Abstract:
For methane (coal mine ventilation air methane) enrichment and separation, Ti modified method of activated carbon adsorption material (AC) was studied. The effect on separation performance of CH4/N2 was discussed. The results show that pore diameter distribution of Ti modified activated carbon after roasting at 1100°C and N2 protection is more uniform; CH4 adsorption quantity reaches 34.4 mL/g and increases 51.5% compared with unmodified activated carbon and Ti modified activated carbon at 160°C hydrothermal method; CH4 breakthrough point of atmospheric breakthrough curve lags 41% and 50% respectively compared with unmodified activated carbon and Ti modified activated carbon at 160°C hydrothermal method.
