Abstract:
Ca3CO2O6 powders with different morphologies have been synthesized by a tartaric sol-gel method. Ca3CO2O6 powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show the single phase Ca3CO2O6 powders can be obtained after the dry gel calcined at 950 degrees C for 2 h, and the morphologies of Ca3CO2O6 powders are worm-like and cubic like.
