Abstract:
By swarm-simulation approach, this paper argues that firms' adaptive behaviors are one of the driving forces pushing the evolution of industrial clusters. The growth of industrial clusters thus depends heavily on the interactions between firms inside clusters, in perspective of multi-agents games. The conclusions that the factors including geographical proximity, social behavior coordination mechanism and government intervention are prerequisite conditions for industrial clusters' growth are drawn through the analysis of the results by simulations based on java-swarm platform. Some suggestions are proposed accordingly.
