Abstract:
In response to the micro-center concept proposed by the Beijing Municipal Government. This article explores the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) efficiency evaluation of the metro station buffer area. Adequate multi-mode public travel is considered as the goal of TOD development. Twelve characteristics are selected as key factors of TOD efficiency. To improve the efficiency description capability of the data envelopment analysis model. A refined and efficient TOD efficiency assessment model is proposed based on the method of data envelopment analysis. In addition, the derivative factors of passenger flow are extracted, and the correlation between them and TOD efficiency was analyzed from the characteristics of the spatiotemporal distribution of passenger flow. The results show that the TOD efficiency of the metro station buffer was positively correlated with the 85% quartile distance of shared bicycle connection and the ratio of the evening peak coefficient of inbound passenger flow and outbound passenger flow. The 85% quartile distance of shared bicycle connection is positively correlated with connection time and negatively correlated with connection volume. Practice has proved that the correlation between them is non-linear, and there is an equilibrium state. The proposed model efficiently evaluated the TOD efficiency of the metro station buffer area. The research results provide references for urban management and decision-makers in the future. © 2022 IEEE.
