Abstract: Properties of physical and chemical for lanthanum cerium fluoride polishing powder were characterized by techniques of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy. Space structures -were calculated by the inorganic crystal structure database (ICSD) , and wettability and polishing performance -was done using contact angle measuring equipment and surface defect detector. It -was found that the materials are all made up of agglomerated near-spherical particles. Below 800 °C , the product is a mixture of cubic Ce()2 and trigonal LaF3 , while a-bove 800 °C , it is a mixture of cubic Ce()2 and tetragonal LaOF. When the calcination temperature is 850 °C , the polishing properties of the products is the best. © 2024 Journal of Functional Materials. All rights reserved.
