Abstract:
Europium chloride was employed to modify 1, 8-naphthalic anhydride(NA) loaded on bimodal mesoporous silicas (BMMs), and hopefully to improve its luminescent performance. The structural features of the obtained hybrids nanomaterilas were characterized by means of XRD, TEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, FT-IR, TG techniques, and their luminescence properties were investigated with help of photoluminescence (PL) measurements. The results showed that the bimodal mesopores of BMMs could be preserved after functionalization via grafted Eu3+-modified NA molecules. Meanwhile, the influences of the addition amount of EuCl3 on the luminescence performances were remarkable, with both of slight blue-shiftness of emission peak and obvious enhancement of luminescent intensity.
