Abstract:

This thesis, in concern with the seismic isolation technology in long span structures, focuses on the research of bearing. In allusion to the defect of, it designs a new type vertical resisting pulling friction pendulum bearing. The mechanical properties test of the bearings is carried out on hydraulic servo tester. The loading capability and dynamic characteristics tests of the proposed FPB-3000 were carried out. Some key parameters, such as vertical pressure, horizontal sliding velocity, which affect on the performance of seismic isolation, are studied. It is shown that the proposed bearings possess good performance.
