Abstract:

In order to know the influence of recycled aggregate on property of seismic performance of the coupled recycled concrete shear wall, a low-frequency quasi-static cyclic loading experimental for four 1/4 scale RC coupled shear wall models with the 1.0 span-height-ratio of lintel beam was carried out. The first model was common concrete coupled shear wall. The replacement of recycled aggregate for the second model was 50% and the third was 100%. The forth was recycled concrete coupled shear wall with concealed bracings. The seismic performance of each coupled shear wall was analyzed. It proved that compared to the RC coupled common wall, the recycled concrete coupled shear wall showed poorer performance, and the more of the coarse aggregate replacement, the poorer the performance of the recycled concrete shear wall. The concealed bracing shear wall showed a good seismic performance. The capacity calculation for recycled concrete coupled shear wall was also established. The calculation results of bearing capacity agreed well with the measured ones.
