Abstract:

In order to use the recycled concrete aggregate in asphalt concrete, a method is proposed to estimate the optimum asphalt content in asphalt concrete which contains recycled concrete aggregate, and the result of the method is verified by Marshall experimental result. According to the experimental research of road performances of asphalt pavements at different contents of the recycled concrete aggregate, such as high-temperature stability, low-temperature crack resistance and water stability, the reasons are given for the variation of the performance. The research results show that the road performance of asphalt concrete containing recycled concrete aggregate satisfies the standard requirement.
