Abstract:
Experiments on a frame (KJ1) and an assembled prestressed frame (KJ2) are conducted under low level cyclic loadings. The seismic performance of prestressed reinforced concrete frame structures is investigated, including crack distribution, failure mode, hysteresis curve and displacement ductility. Using ABAQUS, a finite element software, test specimens are analyzed, showing good agreement with test results. It is also shown that the assembled prestressed reinforced concrete frame structure has good seismic performance.
