Abstract:
A multi-curvature correction technique for a classical bandgap reference circuit is proposed in this paper. The temperature coefficient could reach 224.6m ppm/°C within a temperature range from-40 °C to 125 °C by using the technique. To reach such a lower temperature coefficient, voltage mode compensation and sub-threshold current compensation are proposed in this paper. The bandgap reference circuit is designed based on a standard 0.18\μ m}$ CMOS process, which could achieve a power supply rejection ratio of-68 dB@1KHz. The circuit covers an active area of 0.0217 mm2 and verified in post simulation in Cadence. © 2019 IEEE.
