Abstract:
Slip the hip is one of the movement characteristics of Shadowboxing which plays a vital role for the Tai chi enthusiasts relaxing waist and sinking the breath to the dan tian. It can also communicate the up and down parts of body, and support the external force during pushing hands. In this paper, a Taijiquan athletes’ attitude of slip hip and cock hip were recorded. By analyze these data using the software AnyBody and Ansys that is famous for human body kinematics analysis and finite element analysis, a conclusion was drawn. The pose slip the hip is twice of pose cock the hip in output force of erector spinae which can equably supports the waist and meets the requirement of Shadowboxing. It also reveals that the pose slip hip is 3 times of the pose cock hip in pressure bearing and force transmission which is important for stimulate the concentrated force of Tai Chi. © 2018, Springer International Publishing AG.
