Abstract:
The last decade has seen an increase in neuroimaging studies examining brain connectivity. The current study examined differences of structural Connectome for 57 normal aging subjects. 3T MRI acquisitions included high resolution 3D T1, EPI sequences for Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI). The main processing procedure included three main steps: (1) preprocessing; (2) brain parcellation and structural connection matrix construction; and (3) topological properties extraction. Our findings suggest that the topology of the local network architecture in frontal lobe and temporal lobe may be more vulnerable to aging effects than other parts of brain. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
