Abstract:
This paper presents results of an empirical study on the influences of staff's psychological factors to total quality management practices. SEM technique was used to analyze the data we gathered by face to face questionnaire investigation of manufacturing industry in Shanghai China. The results show that quality consciousness, staff's ability, Quality attitude and staff's interest have significant positive impacts to TQM practices, and the standardized regression weights are 0.772, 0.720, 0.539 and 0.666 respectively. Staff's feeling doesn't show significant effect to TQM practices. © 2012 IEEE.
