Abstract：
It is the precondition and foundation of emerging technology selection and evaluation for commercialization and industrialization of emerging technology. This paper has studied the definition and characteristics of emerging technology and fully reviewed the methodologies for emerging technology selection and evaluation, conducted the emerging technology selection and evaluation by introduction of the technology foresight into the setting-up of evaluation indexing system, used fuzzy consistent matrix for emerging technology selection and evaluation. © 2009 PICMET.
