The　high　speed　line　scan　CCD　cameras　are　widely　used　to　all　kinds　of　machine-vision　processing　applications,　and　now　the　Camera　Link　standard　is　adopt　as　a　common　communication　interface　standard　that　gives　a　inexpensive　unified　interface　with　frame　grabbers.　This　paper　firstly　describes　the　Camera　Link　signals　in　brief,　and　then　designs　a　video　acquisition　system　that　interfaces　with　Balser　L301kc　line　scan　CCD　camera.　This　system　design　is　based　on　ADSP-BF533　embedded　processor　with　high　speed　PPI　port.　Some　considerations　on　system　dma　operation　are　discussed.
