Abstract:

Based on destructive the result of destructive load of a 10-year-old pre-stressed concrete hollow slab and on the load distribution and the single-load model, the resistance-load effect analysis and calculation are discussed separately to evaluate the reliability and safety of the used pre-stressed concrete hollow slab. The analysis result indicates that the single slab load mode decreases the reliability and safety of the up-structure, which will bring problems to the further service of the structure. This paper will provide scientific basis for structural strengthening of in-service pre-stressed concrete hollow slabs.
