Abstract:
With cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a surfactant, a series of palladium nanoparticles with various morphologies were successfully synthesized by controlling the concentrations of CTAB and NaBH(4) in an aqueous solution. The morphology of the Pd NPs evolved from nanospheres as interconnected networks with a rise in the CTAB concentration. The CTAB and NaBH(4) concentrations were important factors for the control of the final shape of the Pd nanoparticles.
