Abstract:
A design of a simple LCD display system used in portable radio frequency identification (RFID) reader is presented in this paper, which works in the 125 kHz ISM frequency. Based on the power saving consideration, the system embeds the peripheral driving circuits in a SOC (System on a Chip) to simplify the complex driving circuits of traditional electrical LCD display system. Besides, the system executes the decoding, checking, identifying, real time calculation, and data display by means of software tool developed in this paper. The proposed system has advantages such as simple structure, low cost, and low power consumption.
