Abstract:
Quantum identity authentication is one of the important branches of quantum cryptography. By means of the advantages of measurement-device-independent technique, in this paper, we propose a new two-party quantum identity authentication protocol, which is further extended to the multiparty quantum identity authentication protocol. It naturally removes the side-channel attacks caused by the detector loophole. Compared with the multi-party simultaneous quantum authentication protocols based on GHZ states, the proposed protocol may be more suitable for long-distance and large-scale multi-party authentication.
